We’ll start at the very beginning; a very good place to…oh forget it. Here’s the jist:

Three months after we started dating, our daily debate about dinner went something like this:

Him: Where do you want to eat tonight?

Her: I don’t care. Where do you want to eat?

Him: I don’t care. You decide.

Her: But I really don’t care.

Bored with eating out, we decided to venture into the kitchen, which at the time meant digging out the George Foreman Grill or warming up a can of beans.

Now we’re newlyweds, and we spend a lot of time in our tiny kitchen, cooking together, getting in each other’s way, and arriving at the table with meals that turn out well more often than not.

This blog is meant to chronicle our (mis)adventures. We’ll break down recipes and menus with directions for two cooks (i.e. when he’s chopping the tomatoes, I’m prepping the sauce) and show how we adapt recipes for an omnivore (him) and a pescatarian (me). We’ll feature the recipes we cook individually, the places we go, and the Brunello we drink. We’re passionate about food, but we’re not professionals. We still burn the cupcakes sometimes. And then we pile extra buttercream frosting on top and eat them anyway.

Should I expect anything less than absolutely interesting, professional, fun, humorous, and delectable from such a team? You guys have a good thing going…keep it up!

Can I get a notice when updates are made?
